|The validation check|
|The validation check confirms that all the substances in the load are compatible and may be carried together. Following validation (even if there is only one substance in the load) you can go on to check packaging and produce a dangerous goods note.
Hazcheck Online subscriptions are priced according to the number of validations included. Each time that you validate a load, a unit is deducted from your subscription.

How do I change my password?
The temporary password that you are initially assigned is made up of random numbers. You should change it as quickly as possible to one that you can remember easily. Select Manage my account from the Main Menu and then use Change my password.
How do I update my personal registration details?
If your Hazcheck registration details (for example, address, email etc.) have changed since your initial registration, you must update it as soon as possible. Select Manage my account from the Main Menu and then use Amend personal details to check and update the details.
How do I check the number of validation units I have remaining or the expiry date of my subscription?
Select Manage my account from the Main Menu. The remaining validation units and subscription expiry dates will be shown on this page.
What are validation units?
Validation units are required in order to use the Process the Load function of Hazcheck Online. You normally start with either 100 or 500 units depending on your chosen subscription level to the full system. A validation unit is used up each time a load is validated in Process the Load. Validation units are not deducted when using the Substance Enquiry or during any steps before or after each validation.
Can I see a statement of my validation usage?
Yes. Select Manage my account from the Main Menu and then View usage summary. This will display your month by month validation usage over the last year.
Can I share my Username and Password with a colleague?
Your Username and Password enables access to Hazcheck Online and deduction of units from your account for validation checks. It is your responsibility to keep your password confidential, as units cannot be refunded if wrongly used. If your account is shared, you continue to be responsible for account management.
Is a validation unit used when the load is flagged as 'Load does not comply'?
Yes. Hazcheck Online has performed the validation check. You should modify the load (i.e. remove a conflicting item, or mark an item as being in limited quantities etc.) before submitting it again - see the validation result to identify the problem.
My validation units are running low, can I top-up them up?
Select Manage my account from the Main Menu and then Top-up validations. You can either pay online by credit card for immediate top-up, or request an invoice. If requesting an invoice allow plenty of time for the payment to be made, since the validations are applied only after payment is received.
My subscription expiry date is approaching, how do I renew my subscription?
Select Manage my account from the Main Menu and then Renew my subscription. You can either pay online by credit card for immediate subscription renewal, or request an invoice. If requesting an invoice allow plenty of time for the payment to be made, since the subscription is renewed only after payment is received.
I have validation units remaining, will I lose them after renewing my subscription?
No. The remaining validation units will be carried forward to the new subscription.
Do I have to wait until my subscription expiry date before I can renew my subscription?
No. You can renew a subscription at anytime during a subscription period. In fact, we recommend that you renew well in advance of the expiry date, especially if requesting an invoice, to make sure there is no interruption to the service. Your account will be renewed for 12 months from the date of payment. Any remaining validation units will be carried forward to the new subscription.
Will I get any warning when my subscription is about to expire?
You should regularly monitor the remaining validation units and subscription expiry by selecting Manage my account from the Main Menu. But we will also email you a reminder if the validation units become low or if the subscription expiry date is getting close.
